Answers to the five questions we get most
If yours is not here, write to us with your order number. We answer within one working day.
- My download email has not arrived.
- First check spam and the promotions tab. The link is also on the thank-you page right after payment. If you closed it, email hello@printamystery.com with the address you paid with and we will resend the link, usually within hours.
- A4 or US Letter — which folder do I print?
- A4 if you are in Europe or most of the world; Letter if you are in the USA or Canada. Not sure? Look at a sheet of your printer paper: A4 is a little taller and narrower than Letter. If a page looks cut off, choose “Fit to page” in the print dialog.
- Do I need color?
- No. Every puzzle uses shapes and patterns, never color alone. Grayscale printing on normal office paper is exactly how we test it.
- The kids are younger or older than the age range.
- Ages 7–8: give the first hint of each puzzle up front and help with reading; allow 60 minutes. Ages 11–12: no hints, time them, and ask them to explain why each suspect was cleared. Mixed ages: give younger detectives the official jobs (Envelope Opener, Keeper of the Notebook).
- We have more than six kids.
- Print a second set and run two teams side by side or as a race. Each team needs its own 12 envelopes. One set is designed for 3–6 detectives so everyone gets a turn.
- I lost the files / changed computer.
- Email hello@printamystery.com with your order number or the address you paid with. We refresh the download link; you do not have to buy again.
- Something is wrong with a puzzle.
- Tell us exactly which card and what happened. Every answer is checked automatically before we publish, but printers, folds and kids are creative. We fix fast and send you the updated page.
