The Case of the Vanished Meteorite
The Midnight Star — a meteorite that glows softly blue in the dark — has vanished from the Brightwater Museum of Natural History. The doors were locked. Only five people were inside.
Your detectives follow a trail of seven clues through the Star Hall, the Hall of Bones, the greenhouse, the gift shop and the basement. Every solved puzzle names the next envelope to open; three evidence cards narrow the suspects down to one.
How it works
No app, no screens at the party, no acting required from you.
Buy once, download a ZIP with every PDF in A4 and US Letter. Instant delivery by email.
About 25 pages, black and white is fine. Tape 12 labels onto envelopes and fill them — 20 minutes.
Read one letter aloud. The envelopes run the game; you hold the hints and guard the prize.
Designed for the grown-up
Every answer is the name of the next envelope, so the kids check themselves. Wrong answers open decoy envelopes with a friendly nudge, so you never have to say “no”. When they get stuck, you read one line from the hint ladder.
7 real envelopes, 5 decoys. The right answer opens the right door — literally.
Nudge, bigger nudge, solution. For every puzzle, on one page.
Each clue leaves two suspects; only one survives all three. Every answer is verified before we publish.
Black and white, A4 or Letter, normal paper. About 25 pages per team.
